About

Rasmus is an internationally acclaimed singer, conductor, composer and arranger.

Singer

As a singer he’s been singing professionally in many groups, including the Swedish Radio Choir, Eric Ericson's Chamber Choir and of course, Ringmasters. In the summer of 2012 Ringmasters became International Quartet Champions,as the first non-American group in the history of the contest. Since then Ringmasters have been touring all over the world, and continue to make vocal art in various genres.

Composer and arranger

As a composer and arranger Rasmus has written numerous works, sung by different groups all over the world, recently for Voces8 and Ringmasters in an exciting blend, a piece that was premiered in 2023 in Vilnius. In 2025 Rasmus was commissioned to write a piece for symphony orchestra and two choirs; it premiered under his direction in Vilnius on the 6th of December at the Open To The World Festival by ISM Bel Canto Choir Vilnius.

Conductor

As a conductor Rasmus has several groups, with Zero8 being the most renowned and awarded. Zero8 has competed in and won classical competitions, such as The European Grand Prix, and sung as guest artists in several places around the world. Since 2016 he is also the director of the mixed chamber choir A Scalpella in Stockholm, since 2019 the mixed barbershop chorus Northern Stars and co-director of the female barbershop choir Pearls of the Sound, from Helsingborg. Rasmus has also directed the Taipei Male Choir during two projects, in 2019 and 2022.
He has two degrees from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, one in choral conducting and music education and a masters degree in choral conducting. As a clinician he’s had the pleasure to work all over the world in various situations, and he very much enjoys teaching and coaching.
